Bridge Program Grief Support
Posted 12/2/22

The Bridge Program provides peer-based humanistic and holistic grief support for children, teens, and their families.  Our support groups meet once a week for eight weeks, and sessions are offered quarterly throughout the year. Our trained facilitators and grief support counselors who, through the use of techniques like play therapy, help children and their caregivers to process grief related to the death of a loved one. We also offer a group for parents and caregivers that is held on Thursdays, the same weeks as the children’s groups. Due to the existing COVID pandemic, all of our groups will be meeting virtually until it is safe to meet in person again.

Our Winter groups will begin Wednesday, January 18th. Attached is a flyer that contains more information about our program and a calendar listing of dates and times. A brief intake and registration are required prior to attending the groups.
